"Black Place Green"

From an undying arc
you enter the sky’s sepulcher.
The tree green stalks
that shoot through dawn’s pink cradle
are what’s left of the night. 

Doors hang open in air,
winging toward softer shades,
still dark struck
by a black pocket.
